1. Do you really do free estimates?
Yes — no catch, no pressure. Two ways to get one: use our online scheduler to book an in-person visit, or use our free satellite estimator to get a fast remote quote. Either one comes back to you clear and itemized.
2. How does your satellite estimate work?
We pull high-resolution satellite images of your home and measure your roof directly from them — pitch, area, penetrations. Then our software calculates a ballpark cost based on your ZIP code and shingle line. You get a number back in minutes, not days.
3. How accurate are the satellite estimates?
Typically within 5% of the on-site number. Good enough to know if the project fits your budget. Before we install, we always send someone out to confirm the measurements and the condition of the wood underneath.
4. Do I have to have someone visit to get a price?
Not at first. Start with the free satellite estimate if you’d rather stay off the phone. If the number works for you, we’ll set up a quick on-site inspection to confirm details.
5. What roofing materials do you install?
Mostly asphalt shingle — Owens Corning Duration and CertainTeed Landmark AR are our workhorses. We also do metal, slate, and specialty roofs when the home calls for it. On the estimate, we’ll walk you through what fits your house and your budget.
6. Can you really install a roof the next day?
Often yes. Once you approve the estimate and pick materials, we’ll grab the next open slot on our schedule — sometimes that’s tomorrow. Most Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia roof replacements take one day.
7. Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with lenders who specialize in home improvement loans, so we can usually put a plan together that fits. Ask us for details on the estimate.
8. Will you handle my insurance claim?
Yes. Storm damage claims especially — we’ve done a lot of them across MD, DC, and Northern Virginia. We’ll meet the adjuster, document the damage, and hand your insurer the paperwork they need.
9. What kind of warranty do you offer?
You get two: the manufacturer’s warranty on the shingles (lifetime on the top-tier lines) and our own warranty on the installation. Coverage details go on your written proposal so there’s no surprises later.
